Community Involvement

Since the doors opened in 1980, The Drury Group has always believed in giving back to the community where we live, work and play. The idea of community responsibility starts with Ralph Drury, Founder, and has filtered down through the employees of the Drury Group through acts of volunteerism and donations. The Drury Group always gives to local charities and organizations through volunteering time, materials and monetary contributions.

In 2001, Ralph Drury and other local businesses saw the need to raise funds for Mercy Children’s Clinic and other local charities. In efforts to raise money, A Vintage Affair was born. Ten years later, A Vintage Affair prides itself on being the premier non profit 501(c)(3) organization that is dedicated to raising money for Williamson County charities benefiting women and children in need. Since its inception, the Drury Group has fully been behind A Vintage Affair, donating countless hours of employee’s time and all needed resources to the organization. We are proud to provide the support AVA has needed in order for them to succeed. To date, AVA has contributed nearly a million dollars to local non profit organizations.

We believe it is our civic duty to give back to those in need and do so in a variety of ways. Each employee chooses their own way to get involved in the communities in and around Franklin. From little league coaches, mentors through Big Brothers, Big Sisters, to Board Members on various organizations Boards – we are encouraged daily by the organizations we volunteer with and support. The wonderful work they do in the community inspires us to strive to do more.
